i think the situation is that 2 people who are on pay-roll as 'medical doctors' sign the papers consenting to euthanasia for their 'patient' and that is enough for euthanasia to be deemed lawful (by injection) in new zealand.

someone ordered the police to escalate the situation. they moved in pretty quickly with firehoses and firetrucks so that suggests they planned for a fire.
they threw the tents and possessions of the protestors into the fire. the police did.

i don't know where the protestors are, now.
apparently they couldn't arrest more than the 120 or thereabouts they did early on -- because they didn't have anyplace to put them. if they released them from the police station they were just re-joining the protest.
there isnt' room left in the prisons. not once we have locked up the political dissentors, already, the asylum seekers, the victims of the government payroll pedophiles and other kinds of offenders.
they will have had to make or convert a facility to put the protestors in.

they seem determined to force an act or two of organised terrorism, in new zealand.
they seem determined to teach teh people of new zealand a little lesson in compliance.
teachers.
nurses.
doctors.etc.
police.
military.etc.
are only on government payroll in their capacity as those things in virtue of their following orders.
you sign the euthanasia form so your 'patient' can be euthanised.
m'kay??
