everything has to get through the censors before it is allowed to see the light of day.
that's why everything takes so long.
4 or 5 or 6 or 7 people need to go through and take out the bits they don't like and put in the bits they like. to check that nothing is said that is objectionable or whatever.

so that when people come from overseas they think there's something in the lead... or something sort of at a population level...
these people are the brightest minds? teh fastest workers? they must be -- right? to have been selected for those positions...
no.
those were people who we thought would never leave.
because nobody else would hire them / would want them.
and we made sure of it. by attributing to them this or that hairbrained idea. makeing the clean their data. making them be part of this or that inhumane experiment.
and so on...
