So he will sign the contract tomorrow for his place inside a retirement home that's 10 minutes away from me. He used to live like 400km away which is 4 hours by train. For me, his move means lots of quality time with my father and some guidance regarding the household. He will use one room in the house I live in as his office. So we will see each other a lot.
His long term girlfriend will not follow. I never really got along with her. I just did all the politeness and stuff for my dad. I didn't want to cause him trouble.
I can help him and he can help me. He is pretty mellow most of the time:) I like him and I am happy about his decision. That girlfriend was no good. That's my only problem with him. His taste when it comes to women. Now it seems to subside.
I always hide how I feel about her. Even now I don't say "finally! hooray" I just say, "OK if you think it is the right thing, do it!"
