That brings to mind the Versailles peace conference.
The Japanese had made such great efforts to equal the Europeans. Beaten the Russian, they even sided with the allies. And then they were stuck next to Ecuador! At the big table Clemeceau, Lloyd George, and Billy Hughes (ours!) were talking about n*gg*rs and stuff. Clemenceau said he was stuck in a Japanese city and could not for the life of him find a blond haired woman. What can you say? No taste at all.
So they moved into Manchuria 14 years alter.
Oh man! What a species.
