I do, of course, know that just because I can edit the author information in the author field that doesn't mean that there isn't author information enconded someplace else that is uneditable by me.
I'm interested in my supervisors being able to edit changes and add comments and stuff, easily.
With respect to the actual owner... Its a f*ck*ng thesis template downloaded from the f*ck*ng university library. Sure someone else made the f*ck*ng title page with the university logo. but that's as far as their authorial input went...
but, sure, it is a heads up on what I basically knew, already: Don't be lying or cheating or whatever. Stealing. I'm sure stuff you *can* copy-paste without consequence is marked in some way...
Just in case you ever actually make something worthwhile and there would be money to be made in other people claiming the rights to it etc. Of course.
Virus protection for a windows system. Does anybody pay for that once the one that comes with expires? I would pay for it if I thought it wasn't simply extortion. I don't know whether it is a legit thing, or not. I never paid for virus protection on a mac... And I don't see why I would / should. I don't know. Anybody else have thoughts?
