when you alienate your own sex/gender

Posted by Christ_empowered on December 16, 2014, at 22:19:41

I've always been a bit too feminine. OK. I was drag queen material in HS. I'm 30 now, and I'm not drag queen material, lol. People say I'm "too feminine," "too graceful," etc.

I dunno. I actually have a solid masculine identity now, which I didn't before. I had this hazy, kinda androgynous identity.

How can I quit alienating men? I am homosexual, but I'm celibate (yes, its a religious thing, and no, I don't try to push that on others too much...personal beliefs).

Here's what's weird about gender issues...now that my masculinity is developing and everything, women no longer pity me and men openly disrespect me, whereas before, women pitied me and men condescended to me, despised me, and/or objectified me (low on the totem pole, homosexual, and too pretty. Loads of fun).

ugh! I get the sense I may have to move when possible.
