Especially since he is now being better at taking responsibility for having a plan in place to prevent something like that from happening again. He now admits that he should have had that plan in place before.I never really knew what happened with all that. But recently, my 75-year old p-doc called to cancel an appointment because he wasn't feeling well. I got freaked out that something serious was wrong with him. When I saw him the following week, I said I had worried that something serious had happened to him and asked, if it did, would I be notified? He hesitated and said, well sure, I mean I'm sure someone would notify you. And I realized he had no plan in place at all. And he's 75, where a heart attack or stroke is a real possibility.
