Like putting people with broken bones into the olympics and telling them "its how you handle it" while doing nothing to heal the broken bones.

Afterall, its "all about how we handle it" not about progress in freakin medical treatment.

I am all for the medical model. It seems to be the one that is most likely true. I tried almost everything and yet i wouldnt necessarily recommend antidepressants to someone who is depressed. Thats how sh*tty these meds are in my eyes.

I think that they completely failed us with SSRI. Its mostly propaganda. Placebo 30% SSRI 40%.

And people constantly speak about all the progress they made and how mental illness is "very well treatable". This leads to good SSRI (mostly placebo) drugs sale and to poor research since "we already have the SSRI magic bullets".

Epic fail.

But remember: Its how YOU handle it! Not to say its your fault, but get your damn *ss up and stop being such a burden.

Thats about the most of treatment we get these days!

I am learning to say no. Thats how i handle it.

Schizo-Affective, type depressive
Seroquel 800mg
Zyprexa 2.5mg
Lithium orotate 480mg
Metformin 1500mg
Effexor 20mg
Please keep conspiracy theories to yourself!
