Thank you so kindly. Yes, it is amazing how resilient the human spirit can be. We can really rise above, and yes I actually now have found strength I never thought I had. Not perfect, but in some crazy way, I can handle this. And I am.
And, somehow, this has FINALLY made me *grow up* (at 43!!..) and realize I can do what I need to do to survive and really make it on my own. I was a bit too co-dependent before. Yes, I am a late bloomer..lol. As, I think it was Nietzsche who said "What won't kill you, will only make you stronger.".

Thank you...again..:)

I'm also pretty much disabled with depression and anxiety and have trouble getting out of the house much less running one or dealing with something like major illness or even worse. But the thing is I am coping with the situation. It was difficult and scary and there were many times when I felt like I couldn't handle this, but I can -- we all can.

Most if not all the times these things happen so in someway we become better or stronger or our relationship with the people we love grows and strengthens. Your love can transcend pretty much anything. It's is difficult and scary and you might feel like it is pretty unfair on top of everything else you have to deal with but medical knowledge and tech is pretty wonderful these days; It's quite likely she has a bunch of years left for the both of you to enjoy. I will say a prayer for both of you.
