I love the feeling and heft of books. I haven't tried a kindle or nook yet, though I have listened to books on CD on long solitary drives. I once had a 5 hour drive and got Interview With a Vampire on CD from the library. I had read it years ago. It was great to listen to in the car.
But I guess e-books are the wave of the future. Even my p-doc, who is really into good fiction (we share book ideas all the time), bought himself and his wife a nook and he's in his early 70's.
