Changed my mind

I've been thinking about this. What is it that makes me happy in life? I realized that I don't have too many requirements. I just want a low stress relatively good paying job.

Do I actually enjoy studying? I would say no. Then why do I want to achieve so much?

I think it all comes back to my upbringing as a child of Chinese descent. In our culture, a huge emphasis is placed on academic success. I'm not sure that it would make me happy, to be honest.

Let's face the facts: I'm not that hardworking. I enjoy my spare time. I like reading and learning about things that interest me, but I've never been able to really devote my life to the study of something.

Also, I'm not that smart. I'm above average, but I'm no genius.

I think I will talk to a career counselor about my options now and try to find a job while updating my skills.

I'm so confused, but I'm starting to be happy about finally being able to get my B.Sc.

I just feel really incompetent. I think I will study from some of my textbooks tomorrow.

Making money also makes me happy. I like saving up for trips and such.
