Dinah, sorry for taking so long to answer your post. True to my disposition, I became addicted to the pain killers I was taking after a nose job I had at the end of January. What a horrible withdrawal! I don't plan to use pain killers again - ever!
My pdoc is my therapist, but due to his schedule and/or my insurance, I only see him 1x month. He has often said he wishes it could be at least once a week. And after all those years of paying out of pocket, I'm just as glad. For me, talk therapy works only in the moment; I don't think it's that useful for me. Whatever.
Still not feeling so well...going back to bed. :^)
