~ ~ As kids, my cousins & I were allowed "milky tea". VERY white with so much sugar that there was a lovely syrup on the bottom that one could eat with a spoon after drinking the tea! ~ ~
Because, who drinks unsweetened tea??? But I've since become used to unsweetened tea, because of the zero calories, and now sweet tea from anywhere is UNBELIEVABLY sweet! Even if I get it half sweet and half unsweet its still too sweet.
~ ~ Sometimes I'll try tea with no sugar (I love cream in tea). If it is really hot - that is, if I drink it right away while it's hot, & put myself in a certain mind set, I can enjoy it. ~ ~
As for milk or creamer, I think that's a hot tea thing. Kath may not realize we're referring to strictly iced tea, as she's up there where its cold all the time! ;-)
~ ~You're right! I didn't know that. And Hey - it's not Always cold up here! But this summer sure hasn't been a hot one, although we had a few days in the 30's C or around 90 F in late August. ~ ~
> I go through phases of liking Dr. Pepper, but I've never liked Diet DP. In fact, I hate all Diet sodas (or cokes, as they're all called here).
~ ~ Do you call them all 'cokes'? We only call Coca Cola 'coke'. We call the others "pop".
NOW for the heretical suggestion that my daughter made to me:
Stop having caffeine. Oh My Gawd.
The weird thing is that I'm actually, Gently considering it. My tea-addict is screeching at me though! LOL
