Actually, I guess I'm getting ready in my head because I haven't got ANYthing ready! LOL
In June, I tried to have a "Kath's Week Away" at home, because I didn't want to brave the blackflies at Killbear. It did NOT turn out well. There were son-crisis events happening...can't even remember exactly what!
HowEVER, this week, I've gone every day up to a nearby town & there's a lake in the town. I take my chair, my book, a tea & sit on a square dock-jetty right at the water's edge. I love it. I hadn't even thought of it being my delayed K's week away....today I was thinking about do I or do I not feel guilty about this 'laziness'...then i remembered that I'd promised myself to do a delayed K's week away. Also I'm looking at it as 'self-care'.
