It has been my experience that-- sooner or later---someone else will spare you time in jail. Life has a way of evening the playing field. Let some small meek victim take revenge and embarrass/ humiliate him. Getting shot, cut, or just having the crap beat out of you has a way of humbling the most arrogant of people who will eventually underestimate their prey.
