I've been bad. I had not filed my taxes for 2006 and 2007. I was pretty sure I didn't owe any money and would get a return so there wouldn't be a fine for being um very very late. LOL
I love H&R Block. LOL They make taxes so easy.
I'm totally intimated by doing my taxes and I just hate them with passion. I don't think my taxes are that complicated to do, but I always shut down when faced with them. I don't feel competent because I don't understand a lot of it and I'm afraid of getting something wrong. Plus I do usually get something wrong.
Anyways, H&R Block were great. I went in with a bunch of disorganized receipts and T4 and T whatevers from all different years and they helped to sort through what was needed and what wasn't. I was even missing a T4, but with a simple phone call the H&R Block associate was able to get and confirm everything.
So I got a huge return!
H&R block got a small cut of it, but for this it was worth it. LOL I feel sooo much better now with this out of the way and the money in my bank.
I really should try to learn more about taxes though and maybe try to do them on my own to save money, but I've been spoiled by H&R Block now and I'm not sure I'll ever do my own taxes again. LOL
Just like how I'm spoiled in regards to waxing my overgrown eye brows. I used to pluck for the longest time, but one day I discovered waxing by a professional and I haven't plucked in about 2 years. LOL
Yay! My savings account increased by more than 1/3. :-)
