Social Security is a federally funded program so if I'm not mistaken the wage limits would be the same in any state. If you collect SS and make over a certain amount in wages, this could possibly affect the amount of your monthly? SS benefits and federal income taxes when you file them at the end of the year. The best thing to do would be call or stop in at your local SS office. They have people who can answer your questions and pamphlets available to explain all types of questions. Hope this helps.
