i'm dx with bipolar disorder (among other things). i have several members of my family with this condition (blasted family, adn i curse them first thing when i wake up!)

mister kk's family also has members with the same condition who are under treatment (oh yeah, that sounds like a match made in heaven, eh?). he's currently not under treatment (though i like to throw it in his face from time to time. yeah, i'm spiteful and mean like that.) of any kind. though he used to receive treatment and has tried several times to get help, though i feel mainly to get me out of his hair.

i used to think he was way crazier than i am, but i'm finding i'm way crazier than he is. however, he listens to me, which leads to bigger problems yet. why would the saner of the two listen to the less saner (you following me here?)?

as for our duckie... as long as we can keep him away from the rest of our family (mainly grandparents and extended family), he's got a great shot of taking care of us the way we ought to be taken care of... villas in france, condos in florida, vacations in italy, you know what i mean. sure, he may have a touch of the crazies, but this boy is pure genius and we're banking on him.

oh, and about the plump to thin, tall to short, ect theory... mister kk and i are both taller. we're both slender. and we're suffering for it. our son is a giant. perhaps that's the reason that opposites attract? to prevent a 9 foot giant, who is overly neurotic and prone to blind rage (he does have a hell of a temper already)?
