social anxiety

I was supposed to go to a bridal shower today w/ my mom because a friend of our family is getting married. But I was so nervous I didn't go. I dunno. I just don't want to give my life up to sa. I catastrophize sometimes about what if this and what if that. I want to work hard to get over this.
