I've never ordered or worn a class ring.
Think about high school. Is your kid the kind of person who would have had a class ring in h.s.?
If not, then you are prob. off the hook.
Ask to make sure, though. say that there are lots of different kinds and that you want to make sure to get the right one, but only if it's meaningful to you.
my only ornaments from graduating college is a stuffed owl and a key. I think my diploma is still in an envelope.
