Do the 'sparks' settle down????

Hi Jay,
I'm not sure if you're 'talking' with this person, or if it's just a smile & a look at this point? So she's in your class? I think it sounds like a great idea to make some friends among your classmates to the extent that your time allows it. Nothing wrong with, 'hey, wanna grab a coffee?' etc.
I agree with Dinah about friends first.
My husband & I were friends first & I think it's great because you KNOW that you've got a good solid base to settle back into when the sparks settle down if you do end up having more than a friendship.
Should I say 'if' the sparks settle down?
