I think if I were in your situation, I would broadcast my story on the evening news...
there is something really really wrong with what they did/are doing to you. They are taking advantage of you, bigtime.
It is outrageous and should not be tolerated.
I would contact a lawyer, if you can. If you can't then just write letters to the hospital, to the hotline, to government officials, etc.
I hope someone will have the decency to make it right.
