At least your fear is rational. However, you may be obsessing a bit. I know its hard - i deal with Bipolar, general anxiety AND social anxiety every day...

You can feel worried without letting it consume you. Rationalizing with yourself sometimes helps. Ask yourself why you feel this way - what exactly are you scared of? You're not really scared of the lump. Are you scared of death? Even IF you do have cancer, that is not an automatic death sentence. My grandma survived breast cancer, and she's an old woman! You are a healthy young adult (and chances are it's proably not cancer).

You've got to accept that you are worried, and stop driving the nail in further. Don't torture yourself over it.
