My T told me something that I've since repeated many times. Forgive me if you've already heard it.
Alcohol is a wonderful antidepressant, but it has terrible side-effects, including depression.
So Deneb, alcohol may put you in a stupor, but it's kind of like putting a bandaid on an infected wound. You don't have to look at it anymore, but when the bandaid falls off, the wound is yuckier than ever.Alcohol is an escape, but there are other escapes too, like movies, books, ice cream, hobbies, Buttertart.
And I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. Stay with the wellbutrin and dump your kahlua down the drain. If you stop taking your psychmeds, you may have withdrawal symptoms (ugh)

I hope your pdoc can recommend a T or a counsellor for you. I think you're ready for it, and it might be a good project for you this summer.
