So, T says that these animated movies are more powerful because they are more dream like. They are allowed easier access to our subconscious, because they are more like our subconscious. The are more imagistic, and less real, so when we are processing them, we have to add our own interpretation, and in doing so, they bypass a lot of our defense mechanisms that we have built up for dealing with real people and real situations.
Something like that. It sounded much more convincing when he was saying it. At least he didn't think I was crazy!!
