Yes...similarities...but we all can't just get worked up and freaked out and scared. Canada is a giant country with a small population. As far as targetting the CN Tower goes, yes it's the worlds largest free standing structure, but it only holds a rather small amount of people during regular operating hours.(I'm just putting this in perspective.) The news media have pumped this up and gone after it to sell papers. Yes, it's important, but all of this very LOADED language..."terrorism" "cells", etc, I think gives people a disproportionate idea of the 'critical mass' of all this. I've got enough damn problems getting out of bed in the morning, then to play cops and robbers which, from a Law Prof from U of T in Toronto sent me in an email, said many of these charges may not stick because of violation of Charter of Rights and Freedom sections. Sorry...thats my rant...out..
