It was. I described in an email that things like crying sessions and “going to pieces” were regarded just like sneezes. People were supportive and it was all so open & normal.

I kept thinking how wonderful it would be if our society could have such attitudes: just let someone have “a problem” and offer them help like you'd offer a tissue if they were sneezing.
