sometimes it takes 'tough love' when the situation is endangering you as well as him. you are the adult in charge of your home and it seems it is time to set some ground rules w/ him and if he chooses not to follow them, he is out. the hard part is following through when it's a loved one but sometimes it's the only way. i wld. get into therapy if you're not and that will hopefully help you w/ coping skills and continuing to care for yourself. by allowing this it is a form of enabling his behavior. i know it sounds easier than it really is but he is slowly killing himself and you too. hang in there...(((((Gwendy)))))
