I saw that Wayside Gardens is carrying yellow lilacs again, bare root. Might be too late to plant them this year. Here it's already boiling hot.
I have always wanted lilac bushes, but I'm in Zone 9.
My garden is past being a source of comfort. :( I want to get a professional to come out and re-establish the beds, but my husband's balking at the cost.
Do you get to garden often? I used to love my annuals and go out every weekend early in the morning to deadhead them and keep them fresh. Very soothing.
