If that was in reference to what I said, it wasn't what I meant at all.
I didn't mean it was okay. I meant what I said, which was that there are many ways to exploit and degrade people, but the sex industry seems to be the headline grabber, and those involved in it, judged the most harshly.It's all wrong, of course. (Not that I think porn is innately degrading to women, but I think the industry is)
But I think it's all equally wrong, and yet, people who object to porn from the ideal that it exploits women, would I think be far more disgusted to see porn in a friends home than a pair of Nike running shoes.
I find it odd, but not in any way "okay."
