each time i have visited the center i go to (5yrs), for counseling and to see my doc, the majority of patients that *i* see are of another decent than *white*. i haven't ck'ed any statistics but it affects everyone. at one point i *think* women were the higher statistic but that was when mental illness was just 'coming out' per say and unfortunately men thought if they sought help, it showed weakness. thank goodness things have changed.
