I bought a beginner's knitting kit. I've had too much other crap going on to get started yet. I still have my computer desk in pieces on the floor waiting to be put together. And now of course I have all the boxes from my Grandmother's in my living room as well. I feel like knitting will be something I will enjoy once I finally get started. But like everything else in my life, I have a hard time getting started on new things, even when its something good.
I think it sounds like you've got a handle on your yarn obsession, what with the yarn buget and all. I think a harmless obsession is better than a harmful one anyday.
Gotta go now, time for Lost! Its a new one tonight!
