Thank-you everyone for your condolences.
I keep asking the question, "Why?" right now. I just don't understand why Sophie died. She was young and seemed very active and healthy.
I just tried to dig a hole in the backyard, but I was unsuccessful. The ground is frozen solid. Sophie's body is in a Ziploc bag outside. I don't know how to dispose of her body. Sigh.
I'm thinking of taking the body with me on the bus and maybe putting her body somewhere along the Ottawa River. My Mom wanted to dump her in the trash, but that doesn't seem right to me.
