I saw Arturo a few years ago at the Chicago Jazz Festival. I like Dizzy, Clark Terry, Miles Davis, and my favorite classical trumpet player is Maurice Andre! Thanks you made my night! :)

Happy,
I know Chase all too well... My husband is a jazz trumpet player and practices w/ Chase almost everynight. He switches out sometimes in order for me to get my hearing back as he plays along with Mangione, Arturo, Mizute (sp), and others. He played with Tito Puente's group, Harry Connick Jr for a summer, Dizzy's group in New York, marched 1986 DCI, and was in a few other bands... He played on Bourbon Street for 4 years in a group called the "Dream Band" at a place called "The Famous Door". That was a few years ago before Bourbon went mostly Techno and Karioke (sp); and before Katrina of course. Do you remember the singer with Chase??? G.G. Shen (sp). He has several clubs, one about an hour from where we are currently living.
Yes, I am also a musician. I'm an alto sax player for 13 years now. Played in school, sat in on a few gigs with my husbands band he was with for a while, and have been the musician in my Church's Choir since 1996. I was thrown into being the band director for 2 1/2 years at my old high school when no one else was around. It was fun but very stressful.
musically
Dom
