I mean...
Comparative religions is fine...
Considering how to evaluate different theories
creationism versus evolution by natural selection
modern atomic theory versus descartes dualism
is fine...
but you need to know about theory comparison / evaluation, you need to know about the aims of science, the methods of science, what does and does not count as a scientific theory and why to be able to benefit from the topic.

what is more likely to happen...
is that it will breed confusion...
as educators have their own agenda to push
and people make decisions based on half-baked ideas that involve a caricature of both objects under consideration...
