I'm an executive assistant with accounting responsibilities. Have been doing this type of work my whole adult life and it's mind-numbingly boring. I never went to college, unfortunately, and now I feel it's too late for me (I'm 51). Plus with my psych problems, it's probably better to have an easy job rather than something too challenging. My employer knows I've had emotional problems and is very understanding. I'm diagnosed Bipolar II with OCD. The OCD makes me very thorough and organized at my job and my employer appreciates that aspect of my personality.
