I have dissociative identity disorder and would be grateful to hear from anyone in the same position. What I'd like to know is wether anyone else has trouble sleeping ? I use to be able to get 5-6 hours a sleep a night with antidpssnts & sleeping tablets - but now they are not even working ? Any feedback would be appreciated. Over the years I have worked my way through what feels like every ssri,tricyclic and maoi antidepressant on the market - and none of them work long-term. I end up not being able to sleep at all- and with this nasty bright red rash on my neck along with a number of other side effects. I took a drug called Haldolperidol a few weeks ago for anxiety and ended up so agitated I thought I might actually climb the wall !. I am in on-going therapy which is a godsend - but would love to hear from anyone with DID who can relate to what I'm trying to say.
