We get one once in a while. When they come in the middle of the night I always cry. The intense feeling of having no control over this awesome force is too strong for me, it melts me every time. It's too awesome. It sounds like a train, coming, you can feel the actual wave moving in the ground. It's a profoundly moving experience. During the day the feeling is not so intense, even when the quake is a stronger one, for me anyway. We haven't had one that I've felt here in well over a year though I think.
