This kind of thing doesn't happen *only* at Babble I know, but since this is where I am....
Isn't it interesting how "well" you get to know people here? Even if you don't interact with them via babble mail or post to them on the board itself, sometimes you still feel like they are a friend.
I mean, you hear about their good days, and their bad days, you offer them comfort when you can. You ride out deaths in their family with them, you share their joy when they get a job, or their grief when they lose one, and because of your time here, you experience a part, sometimes even a large part of their lives.
The most interesting part is, because some of us don't post alot, or mail alot, the people that we share these experiences with, and grow to care about don't even know we're out there.
Guess what? We're out here, and we care about you even though you might not know it. And there are more than just one of us. You have friends you didn't even know existed :)
