Yeah this is one funny guy I have.
You should hear him explaining his big brother's "autism" to the rest of the world.
We will be standing in line at say... Burger King (or elsewhere) and he says to people in line, " Hi there.. my name is Jacob. I am five. This is my brother Austin, he is ten but he can't talk too well because his brain is broken. It's nice to meet you."
That is his "formal" getting to know you greeting and then proceeds to shake the stranger's hand.
The other day he looks at his brother, and he says, " Austin, I know your brain is broken and stuff but your face still makes me smile."That melted my heart to pieces.. He has officially become the "older" little brother. He has been great therapy for my oldest son.. ha!
Oh what a joy these boys' are. What a gift.
