I never had any children, and neither did my sister. Our mom didn't seem too thrilled with any of us, and I guess we both filed that factoid away in some part of our brains. We don't talk about it. In a way I'm glad because I don't think I come from the best gene pool around.

p.s. and now you are not the only person posting today! I took a sick day from work. Tired of dealing with anxiety all day and trying to smile through it. So I stayed home, cuddled with my cat, and did some cooking for the weekend. We have guests coming.
