Thanks you guys for listening to my griping. I'll do what I can about the raise situation. And the new project situation. I'm sure it'll seem better after I've let it settle for a few days. After all, I do enjoy my job, and not everyone can say that. But they are most certainly going to hear about how disappointed I am with their sorry excuse for a raise!
I had a great bout of projecting this problem onto other people this morning. I gave my insurance company a piece of my mind for not covering a claim that I *am* covered for. In the end they were on their knees begging for forgiveness. Or at least, that's the way I choose to remember it.
