I do feel it's unfair to the posters themselves though, they have a right to discuss what they want, and not have it brought over here, sometimes things are said in the heat of the moment too. What if they change their minds and talk about that, can they be sure that post is going to be found and linked over here as well? Of course not.
I don't want them to feel unwelcome because of something they posted over there. Sure we could read it, but what are the chances of that many of us finding those particular posts? By linking to them they have a larger audience than they ever expected.
