I am attending a year end function for our sporting club on Saturday. Those knowing my current frame of mind and frame of large body, know that I would really, REALLY rather not go. But I must support my husband, so I will bury my shame and fear (and drink lots), and go.
Now my dilemma. It is a Grease Party and we have to dress up. There will also be a prize for the best dressed couple.
I could dress as Sandy, the new Sandy. After all, singing like her (Olivia) is the least of my problems. That one I can cope with, with much aplomb but my body would look quite silly in black leather pants. What, oh what do I wear? I cannot wear tight clothing and waist hugging stuff is out of the question. Nor do I want to dress like a pink lady. (All the other ladies will, I want to be different).
My couch and torn, loose shorts and oversize t-shirt are preferable to me, but I have to do this.
Any ideas?
