hello from indiana!
wisconsin was... eventful. we went to a phish concert. my friend's car broke down on our way out of the concert (we could literally SEE the exit, after waiting for 2.5 hrs to get out). we spent the night calling AAA, restarting the car, cancelling AAA, and finally getting towed at 5am to a garage that opened at 8. No sleep! Eventually it turned out to be a problem that couldn't be fixed right away, so we caught a ride from his parents (2.5 hrs away), eventually making it back to his parents' house at 6pm. I'm still catching up from sleep from that night!
Sunday night, I stayed in a hotel after going to Chicago to eat at this famous mashed potato restaurant-- only to find out that that place has become the Coyote Ugly Saloon. very sad.
Anyhow, so I made it to Indiana, where I'm staying with old friends. I have a history with these people, so it's slightly stressful, but I'm thinking I can handle it. And if i can't, I'll just leave early. I'm thinking I'll be here for another few days. Then it's off to Ohio.
I'm glad you guys are following me. It's like having an on-the-road support group :)
