You should come to my house when all my siblings are home -- we rarely go 5 minutes without quoting the Simpsons. In fact, sometimes we have entire conversations composed entirely of Simpsons quotes. But after all these years, my mother still has to ask, "Is that from the Simpsons?" Duh! What else would we quote, Shakespeare?
"Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'" --Homer
"Sometimes the only way you can feel good about yourself is by making someone else look bad. And I'm tired of making other people feel good about themselves!" -- Homer
"Trying is the first step to failure." --Homer
"I've learned that life is one crushing defeat after another until you just wish Flanders was dead." --Homer
"I never apologise, Lisa. I'm sorry, but that's just the way I am." --Homer
"I'm pretty sure I can struggle my way out. First I'll just reach in and pull my legs out ... now I'll pull my arms out with my face." --Homer
"Well, kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try." --Homer
"What are you going to do, release the dogs, or the bees, or the dogs with bees in their mouths and when they bark they shoot bees at you?" --Homer
"Oh boy, sleep! That's where I'm a Viking!" --Ralph Wiggum
Homer: "I'm somewhere where I don't know where I am."
Marge: "Do you see towels? If you see towels, you're probably in the linen closet again."
Homer: "No, it's a place I've never been before."
Selma: "The shower."Lionel Hutz: "Uh oh, we've drawn Judge Snyder... He's had it in for me ever since I kinda ran over his dog. "
Marge: "You did?"
Hutz: "Well, replace the word 'kinda' with the word 'repeatedly,' and the word 'dog' with the word 'son.'”
