That could be right, but it's not what the agent told me. I currently have insurance with BlueCross under COBRA, yet they said I still needed to go through the complete application process, with doctor's record checks and everything, and she said it could take 2 weeks to process, and I could be refused coverage.
I'm confused. I also had someone tell me that they can't use pre-existing condition exclusion in my state, but their website talks all about it, and it's for my state specifically.
I'd better call them back at a time when I have privacy to ask about all the mental health issues. I wonder if the sales agents really even understand the laws and the processes very well.
