help with xanax and klonopin anxiety

i've posted this on the meds board but haven't gotten any response, that's why i'm posting here too.

i've been taking .25mg xanax a couple times a day for anxiety. my pdoc gave me a script for klonopin which i've never taken before and i'm picking up the meds today. does it work just like xanax? xanax tends to make me drowsy, does klonopin have that effect as well?
