hello again. i am in college. a telecommunications major. sorry it took a while to get back, i'm severly short on time (and thoughts, and typing proficieincy as well.. not to mention my spelling, which you should pick up on very soon). and finals are in 3, count them 3 weeks. egads, winston, i'm really dreading that. usually finals week i don't sleep at all. in fact, i recall i did sleep once during finals week, which amounted to me sleeping through a final. so, i learned not to sleep dring finals and postpone sleeping altogether until after finals are through. ah ha, i learned alright.
i had a feeling you'd be civil. i too am civil. very civil in fact. or so i think. please, no one argue. i try to be at least. i don't purposely post anything that i think would hurt anyone's feelings. it's the cursing that used to trip me up. i think in a former life, or perhaps when i slept through that final, i was a sailor and simply forgot. oh yes, in foreign language classes if i don't know what the answer is and i'm called upon i often slip up and say obscenities on accident. i honestly don't do it on purpose, i jsut get confused and say the first thing that comes to mind. and usually that's a foul word. i can't always help that, can i? ok, perhaps i can try harder to change it but i think at this point i have other concerns than that of my foul mouth.
and i agree that this site is what you make of it. i'm not quite certain what i personally make of it. i know that it honestly has helped me quite a bit. perhaps it's bob's great looking face? or the excellent advice and support? or maybe some of the humor? and did i mention the wonderful people here? i think i may have forgotten that part. babble's a great place. it's a lot like home, without my sister pulling my hair. oh wait, i forgot that all done did pull my hair. so, i suppose it is a lot like home. well, a functional home. ok, sometimes a dysfunctinal one too. but, that's part of life isn't it? bye bye ducky.
oh, one more thing... if you read something and want to join in.. just poke your head and start talking. that's what you do around here. (just in case you didn't know. some people don't catch on to that right away. you just gotta poke your head in there and start talking if you like the conversation. you don't need an invitation to join a conversation. just feel free to jump in. tell them karen sent you. there, that's your official invitation :) have fun ducky. and again, we're glad to have you here, dear...
