Oh, that is so cool! You made friends with a grouse! It sounds so magical. Thanks for sharing the story. That's such a great memory to put in your stash of special things.
I have this basket that has special do dads from my life in it (a little tiny book a friend made for me, some garnets I chunked out of a rock on a mountainside in Idaho, some sage from Utah, special pictures of special friends etc.).
I like to think that I have a mental one too, where I store moments like that one. I hope you do too!
